Mission
Smart infrastructure has long been treated as a one-off purchase: install cameras, plug in a Wi-Fi router, and forget about it. We think that approach is outdated for properties that are rented out, sit empty part of the year, or simply want predictable security.
Our mission is to make sure a property's infrastructure is watched as closely as the property itself. Not a set of devices sold, but a relationship that continues after installation: an event log, alerts, a person who responds.
We deliberately don't do full home automation (KNX and similar systems) — that's a separate problem with different priorities. Our focus is already broad enough: access, surveillance, networking, and sensors as one traceable system.
We also track where EU regulation on short-term rental is heading — keybox bans, digital guest registration — and try to make sure NESTy's solutions are ready for those requirements ahead of time, not at the last minute.
